Kenya K. Stevens was born in Ann Arbor,
Michigan. She excelled in technical dance as well as being a gifted
cellist. Even at a young age, she stayed on top of the issues with her involvement in the
Model United Nations and Debating Club at Roeper City and Country High
School.
Kenya went on to attend Howard University in Washington D.C. where she graduated in 1997 with a
degree in Education. Not only did she scoop up a degree, but she also met and married a
fellow “Howardite” - Carl Stevens. Beginning her career as a teacher, Kenya started work with
the Ausar Auset Society. There, she studied with an advanced group of meta physicians and
eventually became an assistant director at a school for the children of these enlightened
practitioners. For ten years, Kenya was formally and expertly trained in yoga, breathing,
meditation, trance, ceremony making, Feng Shui, and metaphysical thought. After years of
intense study, Kenya was bestowed the special name - Hakashamut - which means She Who Comes To Know
Unity.
Little did Kenya know that her namesake would play a major role in her immediate future.
Uniting her newly developed spiritual skills, Kenya conquered her battle with a deadly form of
cancer she was diagnosed with in 1998. She succeeded by using the power of meditation, trance
and visualization, and community to overcome illness. Cancer turned out to be a blessing
in disguise. Kenya had found her true calling in the realm of psycho-spiritual “service” and
healing. A service that she passionately pursues to this day.
In 2006, Kenya moved to Atlanta, GA and made waves as she began JujuMama LLC. Using the
skills and services that she has refined for years, Kenya was able to reach out to many
individuals, helping them create better relationships, achieve desires and heal illnesses. As
JujuMama, Kenya is all encompassing. She creatively unifies her training in fine arts, her
initiation into the metaphysical sciences, and her experience as a wife and mother of three to
shower her clients with wisdom, encouragement, love, and inspiration.
Utilizing JujuMama LLC’s success, Kenya and her husband Carl plan to expand the practice and
reach as many men and women as possible ushering in a new paradigm that holds as it’s major
premise, “that we are all creating our lives and, as such, can be empowered to create whatever the
mind can conceive and believe…”
